I believe this gentleman to be the son of David & Elizabeth Cummins Abbott of Rutherford & Gibson Counties, TN. There is an OHP Abbott listed amont their children. This man graduated from the U. Louisville in 1846 and there is a person by this name in the Rush Co, IN information regarding churches of the area. If anyone has suggestion as to how I might find additional information about Mr. Abbott, please contact me. Thanks.
