Hi! I'm trying to track down information on the Reddenhouse/Rittenhouse Family. I have found that an Ellen Reddenhouse married a Thomas Smith on 10/18/1849. I believe this husband and wife moved to Union County within the next year. I believe Ellen may have had a brother by the name of John Rittenhouse - who ended up in Hancock County in 1860 - married to a Malinda Smith (their marriage took place in Shelby County). Trying to determine if John and Ellen were possibly related? I believe the correct spelling of the name is Rittenhouse, and the name in the marriage database at the State Library is spelled wrong. Any help??? Thanks!
