Hello,

I haven't had much luck posting on here, but I am hoping that it will change soon. I would love to share information that you may have for my 3rd great grandparents John Hunter and Rebecca Jones' family. They were both born in Pennsylvania, but were married in Dearborn County, Indiana. John was born about 1809, and Rebecca was born in 1827. They had 10 children, and the only one that I have info for is my 2nd great grandfather Enoch Allen Hunter. PLEASE, if you have any information on this family I would love to see it. My Hunter family moved to Scioto County, Ohio in between 1850 - 1854. Here are John and Rebecca's children's names....

Enoch Allen Hunter - b. 24 Mar 1844 in Indiana, d. 2 Mar 1933 in Scioto County, Ohio.

George Washington Hunter - b. 9 Mar 1847 in Indiana, d. UNKNOWN.

John Hunter Jr. - b. 15 Apr 1848 in Indiana, d. UNKNOWN

Lydia Ann Hunter - b. 25 Dec 1849 in Indiana, d. UNKNOWN

Sarah Jane Hunter - b. 25 Oct 1851 in Indiana, d. UNKNOWN

Rebecca Hunter - b. 1 Sept 1854 in Ohio, d. UNKNOWN

Isaac Marshall Hunter - b. 10 Jan 1858 in Ohio, d. UNKNOWN

Nancy Ellen Hunter - b. 1858 in Ohio, d. UNKNOWN

Margaret Bell Hunter - b. 17 Feb 1861 in Ohio, d. UNKNOWN

James Hunter - b. 14 Dec 1862 in Ohio, d. 20 Apr 1865 in Ohio.

Please, if these names ring a bell shoot me an email! Here's a little more info that I have.... John Hunter Sr. passed away in Scioto County in 1866. Rebecca Jones, remarried to Henry D. Benjamin and they had a son named Elijah Benjamin.... Also John and Rebecca's daughter Nancy Ellen Hunter married a John Dunlap, but I cant find them on any census records. John and Rebecca's other daughter Rebecca had a son named Jeremiah. I have no idea who the father of Jeremiah is. They were living in 1880 with Rebecca and Henry. I would love to be able to continue my Hunter line! My e-mail is clan_hunter@yahoo.com

Thanks so much
