Eileen,
I grew up in Logansport. There were 3 Catholic Churches when I was growing up. Two (St Joseph and St Vincent) I believe were started basically as Italian Catholic because of all the Italian railroad workers. The other, St Bridget's, was basically Irish. I am thinking this is where you need to start.

However, in recent years since I left Logansport 30 years or so ago, the three have combined in to one congregation known now as All Saints Catholic Church. It is located in the old St Joseph Church in the 100 block of East Broadway, Logasport, IN 46947. I am not sure what happened to the records of the various churches, but I would assume they are at All Saints.

You might also check with the Barbara Wolfe Genealogy Library connected to the Cass Co Historical Library. It is located at about 1100 E Broadway.

Hope this helps.

Lorraine
