Embarrassed to say that I spent years researching the Sullivan line only after I had my dna tested did I find that I should have been a Bolen. So the research starts over. I now have hit my first "brick wall". I enlist your help with my sincere appreciation for any information that can be provided me. So thank you in advance.

Information requested:

William Bolen- born 1828 Ohio. died 1903 White county, IL. Buried at Enfield Cemetery, Enfield, White, Illinois. Trying to locate his parents. I have the 1860 -1900 census'. Those census' indicated his parents were born in Virginia. There is a Henson Bolin living in Mason county, KY at the same (1860 census) time as William. This Bolin (note the spelling difference) was born in Virginia so I am trying to make a connection. I haven't located William in the 1830-1850 census'. I haven't located a marriage record. I haven't located any death records.

Nancy Jane Hudson- born 1831 New York died 1897 White county, IL. Assuming she is buried at Enfield cemetery as well. Trying to locate her parents. Census records indicate parents born in New York as well. Maybe the parents are immigrants? Nancy and William married in early 1850's. Most likely in Kentucky but unsure.Cannot locate any marriage records. I have the same census records for her as William. I haven't located any records for her before the 1860 census. I haven't located any death records either.

Between these two they had 5 possibly 7 children and they are,

Martha Jane - have her info.
William Henry - would like to know when and where he died.
Anna Belle - have her info.
Robert Wilburn - my line is through him.
Amanda - not 100% on her relation. Could be a niece.
David -not 100% on his relation. Could be a nephew. I have no records beyond the census.
Melissa -not 100% on her relation. Could be a niece. I have no records beyond the census.

Again any help would be fantastic news! Thank you, Troy
