Hello again,
I forgot to mention the Miller marriage. My grandmother, Francis Isabell Short married George Miller in Jackson County, AR. (Newport, AR) in 1909
My mother, Anna Mae (--?--) was born Oct. 21, 1903. Her last name at her birth has been questionable. Some say Barnes, some say Short, some say, Miller. Would anybody happen to know?. She was born in AR. but, I can't find any birth certificate to prove anything. She told that she was 2yrs old before Isabell & George were married. The census's say that her mother is from IL.
Anna Mae Miller married my father, George E. Hodge, in 1920. They were married in Poplar Bluff, MO.They had 9 children. All born in AR. Jackson County and Mississippi County, AR. Anna died at Blytheville, AR.in 1950. George died in Charlottesville, VA, in 1962. Both are buried in Jackson County, AR. Remmel, AR.
I don't know which cemetery in Little Rock, AR. Isabell is buried in, but she died while in a hospital for nervous disorders, sometime in the 1960's. I am unable to get information from them.I can not provide proof of birth or death. Or, relationship to her.
Laura Jane Kinney and Charles F. Kinney are buried in Beedeville, AR at 8 mile cemetery. The Dixons are also buried there. My grandma Miller had half siblings (Dixon) of the more recent marriage, living in AR also. Most are deceased, and buried at 8 Mile cemetery.
If you know of these families please contact me. Thanks.
