Frances,

Thanks for your reply. Here goes.

Please keep in mind I have a brain injury and my cognitive organizational skills are poor, but I will try to explain my theory and research. http://pub10.ezboard.com/bbettysgarden

My main research right now is for my Woolley/etc family and Shaffer/Schafer/Shaw families.

First, I think Samuel Winner may be father to Thomas Chandler Woolley m Rhoda Dorsey/Darcus/Darby/Dumas/Dorcas/Dorsett/D'Arcy/D'Arce/Ayers???/etc.

The sister of Rhoda Dorsey b 1826 was Elizabeth Dorsey b 1821 m House/Haus/Hulse/ and later Isaac Wood(s?). When I get unpacked from a recent move, I can find more HOUSE info known to be in that area of your interest.

I am also supposed to be related to Kilgore too, but haven't found or started there to date.

I noticed you had a Marr, and notes that said you didn't know of an Allen connection. If you have a Marrs/Myers/Meyers/Muir?/etc. in your family, I may be able to connect you to your Allen's.

Your McDivitt may be McDermot.

I didn't know Wayandot used to be Wharton. Wharton is also a variation of the name Woolley/Willey/Wiley/Wylie/Woolege/Ward/Wade/
Ware/Woodruff/Woolworth/Wanner/Walley/
Wally/Wolley/Wooley/Whorley/Whitmer/Whitford/
Whitter/WhittermanWhalen/Wall/Weir/etc.

I might guess without research, your Enloe could be my Engle.

Wilson in my family is also an in-law to Allen.

Havens is also some of the DeHavlin's variations.

Wait is also Waite.

McKern is Kern/Kerr/Carr

Smith and CT for me too.

Myrick is also Merrick.

Shipman was either for my Schaeffer/Shaffer/Shaver or my Sherman/Suman/Sammons/Scheuer/Speir/Sparks/Harmon/etc?????
Wonder if this could be the brother of my grandmother, Eurilla. I need to check this name further.

I even have more of the surnames you research. My mother told me so many surnames, I can't possibly live long enough to find their given names and relationship. I thought she made them up as she went over the years. Ever hear of eating your words (thoughts){:>(

How's this for a challange?

Elizabeth
