St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, March 26, 1925, Woodstock Editor To Accompany Fleet: Chas. F. Renich, the able editor of the Woodstock Daily and weekly Sentinel, will join a trip Uncle Sam is making up when the joint army and navy manuevers take place off the Hawaiian Islands next month. Secretary of the Navy, Wilbur, has invited a group of editors to accompany the fleet from San Francisco, April 15th, returning the first part of May. It will be a great trip with great possibilities of education. Incidentally, Mr. Renich has been postmaster for many years at Woodstock and his wife, Mrs. Renich, now has the job.
