I don't know the answer for looking up the obits on newspaper here in this county. A couple months ago, I went to Havana (our county seat) and pulled up some old newspapers from that era. The problem you have is that they don't have a lot of records. Our county is small and they don't have complete records for that time. It's just searching thru what records the library has in Havana. I haven't had much luck with old newspaper records. I still have one more place to look for info on your Nancy. The man who has the "master" cemetery book might have some info that the directory I have doesn't show. Also, the next time I am in Havana, I'll look for a death record for her. Death records give you more info, of course. Your search is a bit difficult because she has such a common name. As I said, we have 2 Nancy Millers in our small city cemetery and we have several small rural cemeteries that I didn't search. Frustrating huh?
