Thank you for the reply. It may turn out that they are also part of the family. The obituary of Max that came from a paper in NY where most of his family was, states: "He resided here until shortly after reaching his majority, when he went to the middle west, where he had since resided conducting a meat market at Havana for many years." I've had lots of trouble locating this group. I found them on a census in 1880 for Havana & it said he was a butcher. If you stumble on anything else let me know...thanks
