Greetings again,
A quick call to the reference librarian at the local library produced the following information:
The village of Wadsworth took it's name from the Wadsworth station of the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St.Paul railroad. The station in turn had been named for the director of the railroad, Julius Wadsworth. No dates mentioned.
