I am looking for information on my grandmother's family in Hancock County (Warsaw), Illinois. All I have to go on right now is a birth record entry in the IGI at the LDS site, of which I have had the microfilm on order for some time, but it continues to be back ordered!

My grandmother was Grace Etta Sydnor b. Sept. 28. 1884, Warsaw, Hancock Cnty, IL. d. Jan. 24, 1984 in Fairmont, MN.

Mother - Mary Jacquot b. Abt. 1868
Father - Charles Sydnor

On grandma's death certificate info available online, her maiden name is given as Sydnor, her mother's maiden name is given as Jaquot. I'm not sure who filled out the death info as there was no close enough living family here to do so, so the spellings could be incorrect.

The 1930 census of my grandparents in Omaha has Mary Whitehall, mother-in-law living with them.

The 1880 Census for Warsaw/Hancock County has a Mary Jacquot listed with her mother Delphine. The age is right, the name is right - I think it may be her.

This is all the info I've been able to find on Mary.

Next door to the Jacquot's live a SIDNER family, including one son, Thomas Charles, who is just a few years older than Mary Jacquot. Could this be the "Charles Sydnor" listed as my g-grandfather? I have found no other info on this person that I can tie in to my family.

I would really love to hear from anyone who may have encountered either of these lines in their family search. This has become a real brick wall for me! If I have any add'l info of value to anyone, I am also happy to share.
