One of the members of my ancestors became a Rev for the Presbyterian churches. One of the places he was pastor at was in Shawneetown in the late 1880's I believe. He later went on to Centralia, Illinios and died in 1900 or 1901 according to a letter by his brother. I further believe that he and his wife were brought back to a cemetery called Westwood Cemetery and i think it was located between the old and new Shawneetown. I would be grateful if anyone is near this cemetery to verify this and I am wondering what papers might have been in use at that time for i understand there was a rather large turnout for his services and i would imagine, write up. His wifes name is Lizzie, and he had several children listed in a previous census. THey are Raymond, Lucy, Mary, and John C.
My sincere gratitude for any help and good luck with all your researches
Doug
