Seeking information on ancestors in edgar County Illinois 1850 to 1900+ My G grandmother Maggie Jane Adams born in Illinois 1861 came to area 1870's teaching at a Native American School. She first lived in Edgar County, Buck Twnshp Paris Twnship (records show city of BUCK later moved toBig Rock Twnshp ( now pulaksi co ark.) Her father was Thomas Jefferson Adams. in Arkansas married Patrick J Kennedy settling in ROCKROE Bayou-- ULM- Roe Devalls bluff area. Their son Dewy married katherine Jane "Katie" Fuller from Rockroe Twnship daughter of Charles Ellsworth Fuller and Martha Ann "Mattie" Landon. P.J. kennedy ist came to area living with Louis H and Cecila Williams, reportedly a large farm owner. It seems FULLERS had been there since the time it was used as a staging area during Indian removals. Apparently they stayed. I have some relatives believed still in area as well as several buried in area. any information greatly appreicated.... Dave Kennedy
