Madison Co., KY census records:
In the 1810 KY census for Madison County I found:
In the same 1810 census BUT for Montogmery County I found:
My ancestor, Thomas Igo with 2 sons under 10, and Thomas Igo age 26-45.
Also in the same household was Mary "Polly" Davis Igo wife of Thomas Igo along with 1 free black slave (although how one can be "free" and still a slave is beyond me!)
In the 1810 KY census for Logan Co., KY I found:
Jacob Igo (who might be a brother to my Thomas) who had 1 son under 10, 1 male 26-45, and 1 male over 45 years old.
In the same household was a female under 10, and one female 45(?).
I do not know why the McQueen surname sounds familiar, but I have not checked all the previous emails I have received on Igo connections. Sometimes women married Igo men had previous children who brought their surnames with them.
It would help to have a date on Roy McQueen's birth or death in Madison Co., KY. Do you happen to have any dates on any Igos buried in Madison Co., KY and were their surnames spelled Igou or Igo, please?
Hoping this helps,
