This is getting more complicated daily. I am doing the research on the Campbell family. George was my great great uncle, born in 1858 in Illinois. He and his brother Robert are the only ones I have not found. His parents are John and Mary Jane Campbell, who came to this country in the early 1850s and settled in Warren County, IL, moved for 12 years to Nebraska and returned to Illinois where they are buried. Several persons sent me info on George marrying Mary Anna and George and Mary Anna are in the Thomas County Kansas census in 1900. According to the census, they were married in 1896. After that I can find nothing on them. The earlier Batschelet info lists Mary Anna as being born in 1876 and having a sister and brother born after her. I love the info you sent but it sure messes up my info. I must keep working on this. I really want to find out when and where George died and where buried. I thought that I might uncover something about George through the Batschelet family and maybe be a copy of Christians obituary listing Mary Anna.
