Working back from the 1895 Census in Iowa I was able to follow the Shimitz family back another generation. It looks like the family came to the US between 1862-1865. Frank Shimitz probably married his wife Barbary in Washington County, about 1872 or so. Highland township in Washington County borders Johnson County which contains Iowa City.

1885 Kansas State Census, Elk Creek, Republic County, KS, Clyde P.O.
Shimitz, Frank, 34, farmer, b. Bohemia
Barbry, 39, b. Bohemia
Joseph, 12, b. IA
Emma, 5, b. IA
AnRosy, 3, b. IA

I wonder if AnRosy is the one your want. You might want to check the source that you have giving her name as Anna Katy and see if the K might be an R.

The 1880 census has Frank and Barbry listed twice. The other time they are listed right after what is probably his parents, in the same township
