The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, March 8, 1906

At noon on Wednesday of this week, at the library of the Christian Church, MISS IDA THRELKELD of this vicinity was united in marriage to MR. CLARENCE H. VINCENT, of Lacona. The ceremony was performed by Mr. C.F. Ward, Minister for the Chariton Christian Church, and was witnessed by the immediate relatives of the contracting parties.

The groom is a young man of splendid character and belongs to one of Warren County's best respected families. The bride for some months has been a dressmaker in Chariton, and is a daughter of MR. and MRS. STEPHEN A. THRELKELD, living north of town. She is a splendid Christian young lady and has a host of friends. Her accomplishments and training well fit her to preside over the newly made home. She will be much missed by her associates and by the church, and Endeavor Society here.

The bride wore a dress of white persian lawn and the groom, the conventional black.

They will live near Lacona and their prospects for future years are bright, with promise of happiness and usefulness.
