Wondering if anyone has seen an obituary for George D or Eliza Gardner Swearingen b 22 Nov 1820, Pennsylvania). George was born 26 Sep 1818 in Brooke Co. Va and moved his family to Iowa after stops in at least Illinois. George and Eliza and their son Henry Clark Swearingen (born Illinois abt 1860) are in Sac City, IA for the 1880 census. George died 16 Feb 1819 and is buried at Schaller Cemetery, Sac City. Eliza died 13 Aug 1893 and she is also buried at Schaller. I believe this couple to be my great great grandparents through their son William H Swearingen. Any help finding an obituary or will or anything else on the family would be greatly appreciated.
