In Canada, I narrowed Thomas & Bridget down to Wellington, Ontario, both as early as 1851, so they came from Ireland as small children.

I would suggest a few things: Get Thomas Stack's death certificate. Looks like he died between 1920 and 1925, most likely in Plymouth County, but possibly in Woodbury County as that is where Mary shows up in 1925 census.

Also, there are a few family trees on Worldconnect that you should explore. They are all from Canada, so have Thomas' death date wrong.
