Located a George N. King farming 120 acres of land on section 14 in Oakdale township, Howard county, Iowa in the 1910 Howard County Atlas. The farm was located about 3 miles west and 7 1/2 miles north of Riceville. Oakdale township is located north of Jamestown township. There postal address would probably have been Chester, IA or possibly LeRoy, MN. There were no Kings living in Jamestown township according to the 1910 Howard County Atlas. By 1944, the King farm had been purchased by E. Prestegard.
