Thanks for the information. Is there a way to get a copy of that write up? I have been hitting lots of brick walls on the Haynie family. I spoke to the last surviving spouse of the 5 children of Emmet and Maggie yesterday. She remembers some things but couldn't remember Maggie's home town or parent's names. I live in California and have no idea where Steer Creek is. Do you know what town the Beaman lady lives in? Maybe I can trace her. I'll keep digging. Please e-mail me. Thanks.
