Does anyone have any further info on Bertha HANNAN who was married to Frank Eckles JAMES??

My Notes state:

Berth HANNAN b. 1879 in Adel, Dallas County, Iowa; married Frank Eckles James, son of Thomas Titus JAMES and Frances Ellen ECKLES.

I am still up against the "Brick Wall" on my HANAN / HANNAN / HANNON family !!!

I was told that my Grandpa Frank HANAN / HANNAN was born about 1880 in possibly St. Louis, Missouri. (This is also listed on his death cert. with ??) He was supposedly orphaned at a very early age, and raised ????????????? then sent to Kansas.

Grandpa Frank was in Ellis County, Kansas someplace (haven't found him yet! ) about 1900, as he married Sarah KUHN, daughter of Thomas KUHN and Eva JAMES.

Frank and Sarah "Sadie" had 12 children, the youngest of which is my Dad, Ole "Bud" Hannan. Daddy never knew much about his father as he died when Bud was only about 7 yrs old. Frank & Sarah listed on 1910 Ellis County, Kansas Census, 1920 Reno County, Kansas Census, and then by 1925 were living in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Could there possibly be a connection between Bertha HANNAN and my Grandpa Frank HANAN / HANNAN / HANNON ?????????????

Who were her parents??

Are there any living descendants that might provide some clues???

The reason I list the various spellings is because each of Daddy's brothers & sisters all spelled it different! These are the three main spellings! There are a couple of more!!

Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.
