Virginia -- I think I replied to one of your messages in another forum almost two years ago with duplicative information, but here goes:
I'm descended from Charles RICHARDSON (b. July 19, 1802; d. January 27, 1888) and Edna PENHOLLOW (b. January 13, 1813; d. September 19, 1853) through their son, Frederick William RICHARDSON (b. July 31, 1844, d. December 1928).
Frederick married Emily BARTLETT (b. March 17, 1851, d. October 16, 1903) of Clayton County on September 9, 1867. Frederick and Emily moved their family to Battle Creek, Nebraska. Charles went with them and died there; Edna had died years earlier.
You've probably already discovered that the PENHOLLOW side has been extensively researched and is well documented on the web and in print, while the RICHARDSON side, to our mutual frustration, seems to end with Charles, who may have been an indentured servant from England or Ireland and therefore without portfolio.
If you find anything more on Charles I would be grateful if you would share.
