Huldah died in Colesburg, Delaware County, Iowa July 29, 1886. Her husband, Reuben R. Nichols died there also on July 17, 1877. They are both buried there.
I would like to find out how to verify the above information. I have been advised to post this message on Clayton County, Iowa Forum as well as the Delaware County, Iowa Forum. Colesburg is nearly on the border between these two Counties.
Huldah Farnsworth was b. March 28, 1810 Hawley, Franklin County, Massachusetts. Her parents were Chandler Farnsworth and Betsey Damon. Reuben R. Nichols was b. May 2, 1905 in Livingston County, New York. I do not have his parents names. Huldah and Reuben had one child, that I am aware of. His name is Miles Chandler Nichols. b. March 29, 1833 in Westfield, Chautauque County, New York.
Reuben, Huldah, and Miles moved back to Iowa shortly after Huldah's brother, Calvin David Farnsworth and his wife Lydia M. Nichols left Dunkirk, New York. Any help on this would be appreciated. Harriet Bush
