My wife and I were looking through some costume jewelery and found a medalion. It is very unique and pretty one of a kind. The insciption points to 1912 first prize learners race. Believe that is from the Washington state area because of WA at the bottom. There are a few symbols at bottom not sure what they are supposed to be. 1 of the symbols looks like an anchor. The size is about 1" by 1 1/2" very intricate engraving and shape. We feel that if there is any way to find a possible ancestor to K. Hyslop that has more information on this medalion it would be very helpful. I feel that this would be considered a keepsake to any family's memories. I dont want anything. Just only to find out the history of this unique item and to give it back to its rightful hiers. So any communications are highly welcome. Sincerely yours William Hunt Washington State |
