Wesley Chapel of Elk Neck Society Founded: 1797 Chapel Built: 1830 Property of United States Methodist Church This small cemetery is located in Cecil County, Maryland in the outskirts of the town, Elkton. It is also near North East, Maryland. It is on the right of Old Elk Neck Road going south of Route 40. The information herein is to the best of my knowledge and may contain inaccuracies due to my own error and/or difficulty reading the headstones. I have tried to keep the headstones listed in the order in which they are found in the cemetery – starting from the front of the cemetery going left to right. There is a walkway through the middle of the cemetery. The headstones are listed left half first and then the right side. (This is how most families are grouped.)
