I'm wondering who this Almer was? He's too young to be William Rufus' son, Almore/Almorine (who presumably died in Piatt Co., IL aft 1837 anyway). I'm thinking that he might be a younger brother of Adriel HUNTLEY (son of Peter & Dorothy), but that is just pure speculation at this point (as I'm missing the names of 3 sons & 2 dau that I'm trying to account for). Almer is on Pg91. Dorothy is on Pg87. Adriel is on Pg85. William R. (Dorothy's father) is on Pg85.
