Does anyone have any information on a Violet M.G. Leggett (born 1914 Napanee Canada) who married a John L. Huffman in England in 1945? Violet moved to England in 1916 with her mother to be closer to her Father Ernest William Aldridge Leggett (died Sep 17 1916) who was serving in the 24th Battalion CEF during WW1. Violet and her mother remained in England after her father's death. It is possible that the John Huffman she married came from the Yarker/Moscow, Ontario area and was serving in the forces during the second world war. Violet's father worked on a farm, which was surrounded by Huffmans, in that area when he first arrived in Canada.

My great grandfather was Violet's uncle and I would like to know if she had a family.

Cheers

John
