Hi Bryan, I have been searching and found out about John Horne and Helen MacKenzie. John and Helen were married in Aberchirder in Marnoch, Banffshire on 12 Dec 1863. John's parents were James Horne and Christina Christie from Aberdeenshire. Helen's parents were Murdoch MacKenzie a farmer from Dingwall, Ross & Cromarty, and Helen McRobert from Forglen, Banffshire (I don't know where you get the Argyll connection from?) John and Helen moved around a good bit probably because of his trade as a mason, and they had 9 children that I know of.
