Hi, I was in a thrift shop in Lawrenceville, GA several weeks ago and the staff showed me a 3-ring binder that was in a box of books donated to the shop. The binder includes the personal papers of a James C. Horne -- some of the papers are related to business awards and Air Force recognition awards, and a few are extremely personal. I'm pretty sure that this binder was donated without knowing its contents. I'd like to locate the family of James Carroll Horne so I can return this. (I'll need to verify they are actually family members before I turn over the binder.) Here is what I know about James C. Horne: * He or his family might have lived around the Atlanta, GA area since the binder was donated to a charity in Lawrenceville, GA. * If he is alive, he's in his late 60s. * He was in the Air Force in his youth. If you can help, please contact me at marykayems@gmail.com. Thank you! Mary McCauley-Stiff |
