I descend from Patience Hood who married Mansfield Jenkins abt 1740???? IN VA Have seen DOB for Patience Hood anywhere from abt 1717 to 9 Sep 1720/1730....and place of birth either MA or VA Have her father as Richard Hood....again conflicting DOB 20 Jan 1697 or 30 Mar 1692. Mother I think was Theodate Collins. More confusion: Found a book on line: JOHN HOOD Lynn MA and some of his descendents by Mrs. Jennie Hood Bosson. She shows a Patience Hood d/o Richard Hood and Theodate Collins b 9 Sep 1730 married to a Daniel Silsbee in 1756. Find nothing elso on Daniel Silsbee married to a Patience Hood.
