Truman Holeman was b. 5-14-1814 in Clark Co., IN the son of Aaron Holeman and Aletha Hilton. He married 1831-1832 to Elizabeth Parkhurst who was b. 8-1-1813 in TN the daughter of Elijah Parkhurst and Mary Brockett. I have more informaton on the Holton, Hilton and Parkhurst families. Truman and Elizabeth were the parents of: Rosanna Holman, b. 3-16-1838 in Brown Co., IN marries 8-7-1956 in Johnson Co., In to Benjamin Wiley Mitchell. (I am descended through this line). Aletha Holman (sometimes listed as Leatha Ann) b. 1832-1833 in IN, married 2-7-1850 in Brown co., In to Sylvester Roberts. Susie Holman (probably Susannah), b. 1835-1838 om IN, married 6-9-1851 to Thomas Crook. Mary Holman (called Polly), b. 1837 in In, married 3-24-1853 to Robert Shigley. Aaron T. Holman, b. 9-14-1843 in Pulaski Co., In married 9-4-1866 in Johnson co., IN to Catherine Alice Mellender. John William Holman, b. 1845 in Pulaski Co., IN Elizabeth died in 1845 in Pulaski co., In. Truman remarried to Milla Hunt Leonard. They had 1 daughter, Matilda Holman, b. 1847-1854 in IN.
