I am looking for any info on John Russell Holcombe, born 1837 in Georgia to Absalom and Caroline Holcombe. He was married to a Judith S. Huddleston, born around 1841. They had a daughter, Amanda or Arminda (I have seen both) who was my great-grandmother. A's daughter, Sallie was my grandmother. I am finding so much different info that I am confused. Was Judith married before she married John Holcombe because I have seen her father's name as Holcombe too. Or was Mr. Holcombe a step-father to Judith? I hope someone can help me! Thanks!! Jan
