I'm working on transcribing my father-in-law's letters from WWII on my blog. For today's letter, he (Frank Stevens) mentioned looking for his old neighbors from Chicago who were serving in the Navy during WWII. Among those he mentioned was Roy HODGES, a name he has mentioned in a few of his letters.

I did find an entry for a Roy Hodges, showing dod March 10, 1999, but I don't know if this is the same man as my father-in-law's friend. I would love to get in touch with the immediate family of the Roy Hodges from Chicago who served in the Navy in the Pacific during WWII, if anyone from that family would be interested in helping me as I write the background narrative for this story of the letters I've found.

The blog post can be read at http://afamilytapestry.blogspot.com/2011/12/give-my-last-buck-to-see-you-all.html

Thanks in advance for any help with this!
