I too am working on my family history but I have very little to work with and my Hinchman family members that I knew are all now deceased. My father was Ayers Hazelton Hinchman. His father was Stacey Hazelton Hinchman. My grandfather Stacey was one of 9 children. His father, my ggrandfather, was William Hazelton Hinchman and was married to Martha T Hoag. William's father was James Hinchman and I believe he was married to a Beulah Hazelton. My father had alway been told that his grandfather William was born near Hazelton, Pa but not the one we see on the Pa map today. This was near Phillie and New Jersey. I think we may be descended from the Major John Hinchman side but only because I believe some of that family was from Gloucester, NJ and that was where James & Beulah were married in 1809. Only grasping at straws.
