Notes for CHARLES B HERRETT:
Charles B Herrett, 71 years old Aberdonian passed away at his home, 108 Sixth Avenue Southeast, at high noon yesterday. Mr Herrett had been failing for the past several years, but it has been only the past two weeks that he has been confined to his home. Mr Herrett was born at Butternet Ridge, New Brunswick in Canada on May 23, 1858.He remained there during his young manhood where for several years he was an employee of a grocery store. After that he was associated for 23 years as a traveling salesman for a large shoe firm.
In 1909 Mr Herrett located at Bozeman, Montana where with his cousin Fred Herrett,he made hes home for several years. He came to Aberdeen 14 years ago and has resided since.
The Deceased married Henrietta Herrett of this city in 1918 Mr Herrett was a member of the Baptist Church and took an active part in all of the congregations affairs. At the time of his death he was an honorary Deacon.
He leaves to morn besides his wife, A sister, Anna Davidson and a brother George Herrett, both of New Brunswick
Canada. Other relatives surviving are Fred Herrett of Bozeman Montana, Mrs Ada Schafer and James Herrett of Belle Fourche, and Mrs Alice Wedell of Minneaplois.
Funeral services are to be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 O'Clock from the Baptist Church. Rev. W H Dickinson
will officiate and interment will be made at the Riverside Cemetery.
