I have Mary Louisa Hendricks daughter of Charles & Elizabeth Hendrix Mary is found in the 1870 Census http://epiphyte.libofmich.lib.mi.us/CensusImages/Roll663-664/208R.pdf Charles is her father age 35 M W Farmer 500 150 b. NY Elizabeth is her mother age 33 F W Keeps house b. NY Mary 15 F W b. NY attended school Ida 11 F W b. MI attended school William 9 M W b. MI attended school And then I have a possible father for Charles, Abe Hendrix Found at the Berrien County Genealogy Research Center: Liber D, Page 354, #283: Charles Hendrix Died: Aug 29, 1921, male, white, widow, 85 years 3 months 19 days Died At: Lake Twp, Cause Death: Acute Ileocolitis Born: New York Occupation: Farmer Dad: Abe Hendrix, born NY Mom: Unknown, born Unknown Well let me know if any of this helps. I think the Ohio part came from Elizabeth's death record and it says b.Ohio but the 1860 census says she was b. NY, In 1850 they were not on the census and 1860 were the only Hendrix's listed in Berrien Co., MI You can contact me at my personal email if you wish.
