. In case it has slipped your notice, there is a 'Hemingway Gathering' taking place at Wakefield in Yorkshire, England between 7 and 10 June 2002 based at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Ossett. There is a range of sessions programmed including talks, visits and discussions. For full details see the web site www.hemingway.uk.com This is a weekend aimed at the Hemingway researcher and structured so that it is not essential that participants are present from start to finish, nor do they have to be resident in the hotel (although a very good room rate has been negotiated).
