John HEFFERNAN "sea captain" b. mid-to-late 1800s, son of Timothy Heffernan and Mary Gorman both b. Ireland. John's siblings: Daglyn, Thomas d. Ireland, Patrick b. abt. 1871 "electrical engineer" d. New Jersey 1931 buried Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenefly NJ, Bridget, Johanna, Kate and Mary. John, who may have been in the Merchant Marinew, is said to have lost twin sons in 1906 San Francisco earthquake. Seeking any information re John, wife and family.
