There doesn't seem to be much activity to this post. I am descended from William Headen (1740-1808)m Jane (Beavers?) I have info that he was born in VA and other that he was born in Marion Co., GA. Is anyone sure? Is it agreed that he died in Jackson Co., GA? I am descended from his daughter Martha. I have got a lot of data from this forum but it has dried up and some of it seems in conflict. My personal interest is in the Headens who moved to the south and then toward Texas, but those who moved west are also important, as well as those who stayed put. Wouldn't it be great to have a Headen immigrant ancestor and find out where he came from? Someone put some life into this forum, please.
