I do not know of the name Drennan. At that time, there were very fiew people in the greater Pittsburgh area. Maybe 15000 people from Butler Pa to Greensburg Pa to Washington Pa and then the Ohio line. The names in my direct line are Myers, Hays, Mordecai and then Lewis, Gist and Gratz. They were riverboat people in the greater Pittsburgh area. They were also Explorers related to the local Native Americans in the area. Some belonged to the Aztec Club and that's how the name Cortez comes into play. From your point of view, I am sure it's a coincidence. |
