Hi m name is James Hawthorne I live in canada and i am lookin for information of my family. All i really know is that my 3xgreat grandpa came from england, he was a black smith and left england as a young adult. next he went to live in iceland for a while where he met his wife. while in ice land his last name was changed to James Hawthorne but it was really James Hawthorn. he met his wife there and moved to canada where they had children also named James Hawthorne born in halifax canada(we have used the (e) in Hawthorne since the inccident in ice land) then he had kids when he moved to calgary alberta and had kids jody and jim (james) Hawthorne then came me and my sister James and Courtney hawthorne. But back to the point I would like to hear from any one who might think that they might have a lead to finding my heritage. There is one more piece of information that might be important. There is a castle some where that is directly linked to the Hawthorn family which might help in knowing if you are the family that i am looking for. I hope to hear from some one soon James Hawthrone
