I am looking for the family of Major Thomas Havis, who died Franklin, Mississippi, year unkown, but was born July 31, 1782. I have an obituary for him saying he served several terms in the Mississippi legislature. His daughter or granddaughter whould be Mary Elsie Havis, born February 14, 1850, Union City, Mississippi, who married Arthur J. Neill Sept. 16, 1867, Franklin, Mississippi, and moved to Siloam Sp. MO in 1882.
