John, This is a long shot but I am going to try. I am looking for the Haig/Haug family from Long Island.I have a John Haig who married a Lena Killian. The Killians owned a Tavern/Resturant in Long Island. They had one son, John Haig jr. It is a family rumor that John sr was a race car driver and had been killed on the track. Lena remarried Vince Bestman. Lena had 2 sisters, Jo ( no info) and Rose who was my g grandmother. Please let me know if any of this is along your lines.
