Sarah Ann Gresham Hartley married Daniel Henry Hartley in Washington County Indiana. When Sarah was applying for Daniel's Civil War pension after his death, a Charles Blackwell in Mitchell, Lawrence County Indiana states that Sarah Ann had an illegitimate child born at his home on Dec. 27, 1888. I would like info on this child and the father and what could have possibly happened to this child. John Hartley
