Thomas Hartley was, according to census, born abt 1814 in Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland. I do not know who his parents were. In 1841 he married Elizabeth Lufkin in Bloomsbury, London. by 1871 he had moved to Brighton with his family of seven children all born between 1842 and 1860. Children - Jane 1842, Thomas 1843, Elizabeth 1846, Henry 1849, Ellen 1850, Robert 1858, Evelyn 1860. I should be pleased to hear from anyone knowing anything about this family. I have Thomas's (1843) history Thank you Yvonne
