I am posting this as a new message in the hope that new researchers have joined the forum since I last visited -William Hartley, the son of John H & Sarah Rhodes was born about 1847 in Leeds, Yorkshire - he married Rachel Pinkerton in 1880 and died abt 1934 in Queensland, Australia - any and all information or leads will be received with thanks. I would love to hear from Cathy Hartley, Sharon Dodds and Marg OLeary who have previously expressed an interest in this branch.
