My 3x great grandfather is Patrick Hartigan. He was married on November 12th, 1857 to Johanna Power. The couple was married by Rev. Edward Condon, of Tipperary Ireland, who lived in Placentia from 1853 to 1870. A copy of the marriage registry is here: http://patrickhartigan.com/4.htm From what I've seen, there were several Hartigans in Placentia around that time.
