Hi, Jan. I've been wondering about Sally Harris being listed as having died 3 Sep 1865 in Grundy Co., MO. There is indeed an entry for a Sarah Harris with that death date who's buried at the Old City Cemetery in Trenton, Grundy Co, MO, with a birth date of 30 Apr 1795. But I'm curious as to what other evidence there is which supports this being the same Sally Harris who was James Harris' wife and the mother of Shelton Harris, etc. For instance, why is she buried in the Old City Cemetery in Trenton? There are some other Harris' listed there, but none of those Harris' seem to match up with any others I know of in the family. And if Shelton & his brother James Jackson Harris are buried in the Kepner Cemetery in Urich, Henry Co, MO, (Shelton's burial there presumed, based on his wife Huldah's headstone there), along with other family members, then why wasn't their mother buried there as well? Instead of up in Grundy County? Also, have you been able to find Sarah in the 1860 census? I cannot seem to find her at all. Who was she living with, since her husband James had passed away presumably ca. 1856 in Garrard Co, KY? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed. Sincerely, John
